Here is a list of tools that a developer needs to be familiar with to work on our code;
Database: MySQL 5.0
WebServer: Tomcat (we use) / JBoss (also works)
IDE: IntelliJ IDEA 7.0.3 (there is a version 8 that is out now), This comes with a SVN client
A developer should be familiar with : Java, .jsp, .css, HTML, javascript, ajax
We use an SVN for source control and Maven for our builds.
