Sync Issue: Corrupted PST file
How to fix a corrupted PST file

1. Close out of Outlook, and make sure that the Outlook.exe process is not
running in Task Manager.
2. Go to Start > Run.
3. In the Open box, type: C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMapi\
4. There should only be one folder in here (such as 1033). Open that
folder.
5. Run scanpst.exe.
NOTE: In Outlook 2007, scanpst.exe is found here: C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office12\scanpst.exe
6. Browse to your .pst file, most often found at C:\Documents and
Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
NOTE: The .pst file is in a hidden folder.
7. To change the options for logging errors during the scan, click Options.
If you choose Replace Log or Append To Log, the log file is saved to the
same directory as the .pst file.
8. Click Start.
9. When the file scan is completed, select the 'Make a backup of scanned
file before repairing' check box.
10. Click Repair.
