Sync with Google Calendar

Hi,

Is there anyway to sync with Google calendar? We use Google Apps in my organization and I need to be able to sync with Google calendar without syncing through outlook.

Thanks,

Demetri Karavas

Re: Sync with Google Calendar

The PlanPlus Online Development team has just started a project with Companionlink regarding google sync. It should be available in December 2009.

This will allow sync between PlanPlus Online and Google Calendar.

Re: Sync with Google Calendar - contacts

Would love to have it import/export/sync Google contacts too.

Has there been any progress? Do you still plan a link for Google in December '09?

Re: Sync with Google Calendar

Any updates on this? Would LOVE to be able to sync with my google calendar. Srsly. If I can sync to google, then I can sync with my iPhone -- which is the holy grail at this point.

Re: Sync with Google Calendar

One way to accomplish the Google to PlanPlusOnline synch is a bit of a hack, but it's how I currently utilize Google information within Outlook. In order for this to work you need to have Outlook installed on your machine.

Google has created a Calendar Synch tool for use with Google Calendar and MS Outlook. Here is the link for more information: http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=89955

The only problem I forsee is the ability for this application to Synch with a Google Apps Calendar vs. the default Google Calendar. At a minimum you could Copy your Apps calendar information to the regular Google Calendar by exporting and then importing. That seems like an awful lot of trouble though.
