Please verify if you have the Outlook 32 or 64-Bit version.
This can sometimes be confused with the Operating System BIT. You can determine this by doing the following:
1. File
2. Click on the Help menu
3. Look to the right under About Microsoft Office Outlook. 32/64-bit?
If you have the 32-Bit Outlook, you need the V7.0 PPO
If you have the 64-Bit Outlook, you need the V7.1 PPO
Outlook 2013 will not work with PlanPlus for Outlook
If you need a different version you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software.
Below are the instructions to do a complete uninstall/reinstall. You will want to completely
uninstall any previous version prior to re-installing or it will not open in your Outlook.
Here are the instructions for the Complete Un-install
1-Go to the Control Panel, then Programs and Features. Delete Franklin Covey PlanPlus For
Outlook.
2-Click Start Menu and in the Search bar, search for Regedit.exe and pull up the registry
3-Go to the following file paths:
-HKEY_CURRENT_USERS/Software/ (delete Franklin Covey)
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ (delete Franklin Covey if there is a file here too)
5-Open Start Menu> Click Computer> Click C Drive> Click Programs Files (86) delete any
Franklin Covey folders
6-Open Outlook and delete all Franklin Covey folders (if you have any)
7-Click on the link to re-install
8-o to File | Options | Add-ins | at the bottom of the windows go to Manage Com Add-ins. Check to make sure PlanPlusSuiteShim is not in the listing.

Outlook 2013 will not work with PlanPlus for Outlook
After you install, check to make sure it's enabled in the Add-Ins
Enabling In Add-Ins
Go to File | Options | Add-Ins
At the bottom it says Manage COM Add-Ins
Change to Disabled Items, click Go
See if it's in the list there, click and enable
Change back to COM Add-Ins and click Go
This will bring up an Add-In's Available list.
Make sure the PlanPlus Outlook is in there checked, click Okay
Shut down Outlook and restart. See if it opens up now
